PRAYER MINISTRY

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done."
Philippians 4:6 (NLT)

Prayer is an essential part of our relationship with God and vital to the life and calling of the church. It’s a privilege and an honor we embrace as individuals and as a community of believers. Join one of our prayer teams as we seek God on behalf of those suffering, for Brookwood Church, our mission partners, our community and our nation.

  • Intercessory Prayer Team volunteers commit to a weekly, 1-hour time slot to serve in our on-site Prayer Room. In this private space, prayer partners come before God on behalf of those who’ve submitted confidential prayer requests, the needs of our missionary partners, and more. Team members also write cards of encouragement to those who’ve requested prayer. Several time slots are available.

  • Sunday Morning Prayer is in the Auditorium at 8:15 am every week. Everyone is invited to join us as the speaking pastor shares how we can pray for the morning services, and we’ll pray for our church, community and nation. Anyone who’d like to participate on Sunday mornings is encouraged to come.

  • Watchers Prayer Team is a dedicated group of church members committed to praying for Brookwood Church daily using a short, weekly list of specific requests from the pastoral leadership team. These prayer warriors are asked to seek the Spirit’s movement in our church and God’s provision for the needs of Brookwood Church.
